UNIVON AIR TO WATER HEAT PUMP

What Are Heat Pumps?
Heat pumps are systems that move (or pump) heat from one place to another by using a compressor and circulating a structure of liquid or gas refrigerant. Through this, the heat is extracted from outside sources and then pumped indoors. Pumping the heat tends to use a lot less electrical energy than the typical methods of turning electricity into heat.
Benefits of a Heat Pump
A heat pump works by using a much smaller amount of energy than your usual HVAC system would. It takes this small amount of energy and uses it to move heat from one spot to another. While a heat pump may cost more than an air conditioner or a furnace, in the long-run it can actually save you money on your energy bills—which makes it worth it!
